Description

Robotics Program 101 is our introductory-level robotics course designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and lay a strong foundation for students stepping into the world of robotics and STEM learning. This program focuses on helping young learners understand the fundamentals of robotics through hands-on experiments, interactive lessons, and simple coding activities. It is ideal for beginners who want to develop essential skills before progressing into advanced levels.

In Robotics Program 101, students are introduced to the core building blocks of robotics—mechanical structures, motors, gears, sensors, circuits, and basic programming logic. They learn how robots think, move, and interact with the world around them. Through guided lessons, they assemble beginner-level robots, perform movement-based tasks, and solve real-life inspired challenges that strengthen their creativity and analytical thinking.

The program is designed to nurture problem-solving, teamwork, and logical reasoning. Every activity encourages students to explore concepts, test their ideas, and understand the “why” behind every action a robot takes. By the end of this program, students gain a clear understanding of robotics basics, preparing them for more advanced modules like Robotics Program 201 and 301.

Eligibility & Criteria

Robotics Program 101 is beginner-friendly and open to all students who are interested in technology, science, and creative learning. The basic criteria include:

  • Age Group: Suitable for students from Grade 1 to Grade 12

  • No Prior Experience Required: Students do not need any background in robotics or coding.

  • Basic Computer Skills: Ability to operate a computer, tablet, or laptop is helpful but not mandatory.

  • Interest in STEM: A curious mindset and willingness to learn through experiments.

  • Regular Participation: Students must attend classes consistently and complete all assigned activities.

This program ensures that every student—regardless of their starting point—receives the support needed to grow, explore, and build confidence in robotics.

Certificate of Completion

All students who successfully finish Robotics Program 101 will receive an official Certificate of Completion from Elevate. This certificate recognizes:

  • Successful participation in the foundational robotics program

  • Completion of all hands-on activities and assessments

  • Demonstrated understanding of basic robotics concepts

  • Commitment to STEM learning and innovation

The certificate helps students showcase their early achievements in robotics and serves as a valuable stepping stone for future learning opportunities, competitions, and advanced robotics courses.
