Advanced Robotics for Future Engineers, Innovators & Tech Leaders

Our High School Robotics Team delivers a professional-grade engineering experience. Students design, build, and program competition-ready robots—similar to FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) and VEX Robotics Competition (VRC).

/ Program Overview/

This team prepares students for real-world engineering, computer science, and competitive robotics. Students work with advanced hardware, industry tools, programming languages, and full engineering documentation.

1 . Advanced Engineering & Robotics

Students develop high-level engineering skills:

  • Custom metal robot fabrication
  • High-torque and high-speed gearing
  • Pneumatics & advanced mechanical systems
  • Professional wiring & electronics
  • CAD design (Fusion 360, Onshape)

Build modules include:

  • Tank drive systems
  • Lifts, conveyors, shooters
  • Grippers & multi-degree-of-freedom arms

2.Advanced Programming & Automation

Students dive deeper into:

  • Python, C++, or Java
  • Autonomous navigation algorithms
  • Motion profiling
  • PID control
  • Computer vision (OpenCV-level basics)
  • Sensor fusion (IMU + encoders + cameras)

3.Competition Engineering (FTC / VRC Equivalent)

Students work as a full robotics team:

  • Engineering notebook documentation
  • Strategy analysis
  • Autonomous vs. driver-controlled missions
  • Robot testing and iteration
  • Match scrimmages

4. Engineering Leadership & Innovation

The team develops:

  • Project management skills
  • Technical communication
  • Community outreach
