Description

Robotics Program 201 is designed for students who have completed the foundational concepts of Robotics Program 101 and are ready to advance into more complex and intelligent robotic systems. This intermediate-level program deepens students’ understanding of robotics by introducing advanced mechanical structures, smart sensors, algorithm-based coding, and real-world automation challenges.

In this program, students move beyond basic assembling and explore the engineering behind efficient robot design. They learn how different sensors—such as ultrasonic, infrared, and line-tracking modules—enable robots to think, react, and navigate. Through guided activities, they build robots capable of sensing obstacles, following paths, and making decisions based on programmed conditions.

Coding becomes a major part of Robotics Program 201, where students transition from simple block coding to more structured logic-building, loops, conditions, and event-based programming. They learn how to optimize commands, troubleshoot errors, and understand how coding sequences impact robotic behavior. Each lesson pushes students to think critically, test solutions, and improve their designs through iteration.

Robotics Program 201 not only builds technical skills but also strengthens essential 21st-century abilities such as creative problem-solving, collaboration, innovation, and structured thinking. Students begin working on mini-projects that mirror real-world scenarios in industries like automation, transportation, safety, and smart environments. By the end of the program, students are confident in building intelligent robots and ready to take on higher-level challenges in Robotics Program 301.
